Photograph of a statue of Meleager based on an original work attributed to Skopas. The statue depicts the Greek mythological hero with his hunting dog and the head of the Calydonian boar. He wears a short cloak that is draped around his shoulders, with its end wrapped around his arm. The pedestal on which the statue is placed is decorated with a papal emblem.
