Pholos, at left, and a fellow centaur standing on either side of a pithos. Pholos wears a chiton, holds a branch in his left hand, and likely dips a vessel into the pithos with his right. The other centaur holds a branch in his left arm, and rests his right hand on the pithos. Above the pithos a kantharos is perched on a vine. Behind Pholos, a cave is indicated at the upper left.
