Photograph of an engraving or an illustration by Johann Michael Wittmer, after a fresco by Giulio Romano in the Chamber of Cupid and Psyche in Palazzo Te. It depicts a scene from the fresco, showing the preparations of the banquet for Cupid and Psyche. A number of satyrs and nymphs are in the scene, including a satyr who is holding up a piece of bread in the foreground. Romano and Wittmer's names are inscribed in between the lunettes at the top of the image, with the year 1854 in Roman numerals.
