From the Getty Museum record
View of the M train on the Williamsburg Bridge from above. A young boy resting one hand on the car window can be seen standing at one end of the subway car looking out, and the motorman is visible through the train window to the left of him. A dedication plaque is attached to a steel beam of the bridge above the train tracks and gives the bridge's name and commission dates.
