Preserved are two paws and a hind foreleg of a life-size statue of a lion in two fragments: .1: Preserves three of the toes of a lion's paw. Plastically modeled tufts of hair run along the length of each toe. .2: Preserves the paw and hind foreleg of the lion. All four toes are preserved and, as with .1, have tufts of hair along their lengths. The foreleg clearly shows two joints. Another string of plastically rendered tufts of hair curl around the underside of the leg.
