>The sixth angel poured out its vessel upon that great river Euphrates and dried up the water of it, so that a way might be prepared for the kings from the rising of the sun. >(Apocalypse 16:12) As Saint John looks on sadly from a hilltop, the angel, with its great wings swept up behind, empties the vessel. The vessel's contents seem to dry up the water of the Euphrates where they fall.
