One of three tipped-in photographs illustrating a printed map of Stanton Harcourt and the surrounding area along the River Thames. The photograph shows a view of the Bablock Hythe Ferry landing from across the river. A simple wooden ferry boat rests on the opposite side of the river beneath a rope strung overhead from one side of the river to the other. Several people can be seen standing on the riverbank at the ferry landing and near the ferry house.
