This fragment is the forefinger from a statue. The finger is well-modeled and broken off between the second and third joints. There is an attachment point on the proper right side of the finger at the end. There is a second small attachment point on the back of the finger at the first joint, indicating that it probably originally rested against another part of the body. The nail is indicated by an incised line and a slightly depressed surface indicating the nail bed. The finger is bent at the second joint. The slenderness of the finger indicates that it probably comes from the statue of a female figure.
