The seventh and last of the trumpets sounds, and voices cry out from heaven: "The kingdom of this world is made our Lord's and his Christ's, and he will reign for ever and ever." (Apocalypse 11:15) Then the twenty-four elders kneel down in adorations before the Lord. In the miniature, the angel sounding the trumpet places its hand on Saint John's shoulder, directing his attention to the vision of Christ flanked by angels.
