Engraved gem with the image of a man wearing a chlamys on his back, kneeling over the back of an animal, perhaps a calf, before a T-shaped altar. His raised hand holds what seems to be a cup but might have been intended to be a knife in order to sacrifice the calf. Scarab has a hatched edge to the thorax, corner v-shaped winglets on the elytra, and a plinth with alternate hatching. Framed by a hatched edge border.
