Photograph of a spandrel that is part of the fresco by Raphael and his workshop in the Loggia of Cupid and Psyche in the Villa Farnesina. It depicts Mercury, shown here as a nude male figure with his winged hat, leading Psyche in flight up toward the heavens. The scene is framed with elaborate festoons of various plants painted by Giovanni da Udine.
