It was an extremely successful project for Braun; one album of the photographs was presented to Empress Eugénie of France, and it earned him a medal at the 1855 Paris

From the Getty Museum record

Portrait of a woman wearing a dress typical of the canton of Thurgau, Switzerland. She stands with her hands on her hips in front of a door, beside a trestle table with sawhorse legs. Models of miniature Swiss houses cover the table, along with statues of four-legged animals, and baskets sit on the ground beneath it.
