Portrait of a seated woman. Her body is in frontal view and her face is turned at a three quarter angle to the left. She is wearing a beautiful evening gown. Two brooches are pinned on the right side of the neck of her dress. She is holding a feathered fan on her lap. She has a bracelet on each wrist and a double pearl necklace with a pendant. A window has been drawn around her. Some of the diamond-shaped window panes are carved in the photograph. A mandolin is drawn on the window sill.
