Portrait of a woman, seen from the shoulders up. The walls behind her are blank, with a single light bulb at the top of the image. This photograph is from a series of portraits of the sons and daughters of people who disappeared during the 1976 -1978 military dictatorship in Tucumán. The artist let the protagonists, who now were approximately the same age as their parents when they disappeared, decide the location and the objects presented in the portraits. The series shows the special connection of the sons and daughters with the photographs of their parents that have become relics of their memory.
