Obverse: Single Dioskouros in short tunic and chlamys, with short sword in scabbard under left arm, holds the reins with his left hand while raising right arm; he rides a horse standing left with its right foreleg raised; a pileus to right. Between the Diokouros and the pileus is a monogram. Reverse: Taras, wearing a leafy crown, rides on dolphin swimming to the left; he raises a chlamys in his left hand and holds a trident in his right; below the dolphin, waves and the mantle of a cuttle-fish, the remainder of which is off flan. Inscribed alongside the trident is [T]ARAS; a monogram is in the field behind Taras.
