Sawada used a public photo booth for the ID400 series, inventing a total of four hundred different identities over a period of weeks. She continually changed her physical appearance and dress, facial characteristics and expressions, to execute this study of physiognomy. This piece consists of 100 photographs, numbers 201 through 300 in the 400 image series.
