Imitation of a statuette of Hermes and a Nymph seated on a rock. Both figures are missing their heads. Hermes and the Nymph embrace; his right arm is placed on her torso. Their bodies are rendered in a slightly twisted pose with their upper torsos touching. She clasps a lavishly pleated mantle which is spread on top of the rock. Next to the right leg of the Nymph is a caduceus, an attribute of Hermes.
