Two copies of an original document from the Mauthausen concentration camp in the Incarceration Camp Documents Unit. The document records the time, date, and cause of death ("todesursache") of prisoners in the camp. Beginning halfway down the page on the left, the deaths of 48 prisoners is recorded. The prisoners were shot every two minutes beginning at 11:00 on April 20, 1942, ordered by Heinrich Himmler in honor of Hitler's birthday.
