The face of the figure has deep-set eye sockets and high cheekbones. Only a faint hint of the mouth can be detected. Most of the lower left side of the face has been damaged. The hair is arranged in tall curls indicated by parallel grooves running from the forehead toward the back and bisected by a perpendicular incision. A headband crosses atop the hair. The head is broken at the back and on the right side at the top of the neck. The left side is also significantly damaged and the marble has a yellow-brown patina.
