The diadem is made of gold leaf, and contains one glass and four garnet inlays set in gold mounts. The four garnet inlays are rounded and dark red in color. The central inlay is rectangular and composed of greenish glass. The gold leaf is crumpled and its edges torn, but the ends are preserved and retain the terminal wire loops.
