Raised from a single sheet of silver, parcel-gilt. On the inside is an irregular, very worn scale medallion that is framed by an 'Achaemenid stepped battlement frize'. The medallion is bordered by a flower tendril. The frieze is framed by wave meanders running in opposite directions. The medallion and frieze were originally gilt, as were the engraved wave meander benath the lip and the 'Achaemenid stepped battlement frieze'. Undecorated exterior.
