Scarab

Carved in early a globolo style. On the face, a satyr reclining left, leaning on his right elbow and holding a kylix in his left hand in order to play kottabos, a kind of drinking game; hatched border. On the reverse, the scarab is simple, with relief legs and hatched lines around the elytra; the winglets are distinguished by V-shaped marks; the plinth is hatched.
