Fragment preserves balding, bearded satyr and maenad. The satyr, shown frontally, plays a double aulos. The maenad seems to be seated, and looks up towards the satyr. Her hair is arranged in a high topknot, and she wears a narrow diadem. In the field above are a rectangular object in added white with a palmette pattern, probably the foot of a chair or couch, and a phiale. Interior, black.
