The head is worked for insertion into a statue. The woman has high cheekbones, with deep nasolabial folds. Her hair is tied back into a braid, with a knot at the back. Loose curls before the ears are rendered in relief. The nose is broken, and the front and proper right side of the face have spalled away. Part of the left ear, and the bottom and side of the hair knot are also missing.
