View of Luoxing or Falling Star Pagoda, a seven-storied octagonal pagoda on Pagoda Island. The area was previously known as the Pagoda Anchorage, now part of the Mawei District. A number of buildings can be seen on the island, including one with the sign for Dobie and Company, a shipchandler and coal dealing company. This view is seen from across the Min River.
