Vessel with cup-like mouth and single handle carved from white banded alabaster and used as a container for precious liquids. The solid interior was hollowed out from the bottom of the vessel, which made it necessary to have a separately-made base disc, also of banded alabaster, which would have been attached to the body (89.AA.38.2).
