Discus Iconography: Protome of lion to right. Description: Moldmade. Ring handle with two grooves on upper part. Shoulder with closely spaced outward-slanted rays, separated from discus by two circular grooves. Filling-hole in upper right field. Air hole in lower. Heart-shaped nozzle. Base-ring marked off by two circular grooves; two additional interior rings. Potter's incised signature: AVGVS/TIANI, African workshop active A.D. 175 - 225.
