View of Kunming Lake at Yuanmingyuan Park, also known as the Old Summer Palace in Beijing, through fog. In the foreground, dead lotus flowers emerge from the still surface of the water, many of the stems bent at sharp angles merging with their own reflections to create unique shapes. The bridge of seventeen arches crosses the lake in the distance, and at one end of it, the peaked roof of a building is visible among the trees.
