The bull is depicted facing left with its head tilted in three-quarter view. Its left front hoof is raised, and the back right hoof extends forward; the tail curves around in a full loop. There is little depth and the animal stands on a long, thin base. The relief was gilded; the back is undecorated and unarticulated. A hole was pierced through the bull’s left shoulder to attach this section of ornamental relief to furniture or a sarcophagus.
