Published in the book Rock Slivers and Lonely Clouds, this painting was also included in the sales exhibition at Mitsukoshi department store on February 22–26, 1929. Izumi Kichijirō (born 1874), a lead pipe manufacturer and founding member of the Kodōjin Society in 1928, purchased it for Yen 120 (approximately $54 at that time, or about $900 today). Japan, Asia
