This bonbonniere was created for the coming-of-age ceremony of Crown Prince (Emperor Showa) in 1919. The eight-sided mirror-shaped kogo has a design of two cranes and the Imperial Crest (in gold). This bonbonniere was distributed at a banquet on May 10. The use of the chrysanthemum crest was limited to the Emperor and his family. This bonbonniere is published in the Spring 2009 edition of the magazine Daruma (p. 28). Japan, Asia
