James Ford Bell's practice of giving silver to the Institute of Arts did not go unnoticed. In commemoration of his generosity as well as his service to Washburn Crosby (1915-1928) and General Mills (1928-1947), his associates at General Mills presented him with these two lovingly inscribed salvers in 1949.
