From the Museo Egizio record

Atum wears a kilt and the Double Crown of Upper and Lower Egypt, Osiris an elaborate atef crown with plumes and ram horns. The official pays homage to the two deities with offerings and a short hymn written in six lines under the scene. For unknown reasons – possibly connected to the social strife that accompanied the Amarna revolution – the image of the powerful official kneeling in front of the gods was mercilessly hacked away, as was his name where it occurs in the hymn, whereas its occurrences in the two side columns eluded his persecutors. Dimensions: 44.5 cm x 67.3 cm x 13.5 cm. Museum location: Museum / Floor 3 / Writing Gallery / Base 16. Image views available: 8.
