Droit : l'allégorie du Commerce de face, la tête à gauche, drapée d'un chiton, tenant un caducée et une clé, ouvre deux volées de portes donnant sur le hall d'exposition du Crystal Palace ; à ses pieds, un agneau et un casque de Minerve ; à l'arrière, une locomotive, des rouages et un globe étoilé sous un pamier ; revers : inscription sur six lignes dans une couronne de palme et de laurier fruité.
