The largest supplier to the Hague porcelain factory was established in the German principality of Ansbach. The amount of porcelain that Lijncker bought there had an immediate impact on the turnover of this small German factory. Lijncker’s painters decorated these objects back in The Hague. This punch bowl is painted with a view of the Portuguese Synagogue in Amsterdam and of the palace of Huis ten Bosch in The Hague.
