Lesser known episodes from the story of Saint George are also sometimes the subject of a print. Here the princess tells of her sad circumstance: because the dragon has eaten almost all of the sheep, the king daily sends the monster a child and a sheep. They are also depicted on the ceremonial chain, as is the princess, who together with the sheep, hopes for a happy ending.
