Man in a Broad-brimmed Hat

This portrait makes a very informal impression. The man looks slightly down at you, making direct eye contact, and seems to be saying something. His upper teeth are visible in his open mouth. The hat with a turned-up brim, the collar and the jacket are contemporary; therefore this is most certainly not a tronie. The sitter’s identity, however, is not known.
