The miracle takes place in the left foreground, in just a few square centimetres. Jesus heals a blind man by brushing his eyes with spittle mixed with dirt and commanding him to wash himself. The drawing, which is part of a series of landscapes with scenes from the Bible, is dated 1601. Vinckboons thus made it when he was only 24 or 25 years old.
