This long, slender bow is carved from a single piece of dark hardwood. It has a smooth, undecorated surface and a gentle natural curvature. Shallow grooves are cut into each end to secure a bowstring. The Aeta (or Agta) people are the Indigenous population of the Philippines who follow a hunting and gathering lifestyle.
