Although not Greek, the matched pair of bronze Phrygian fibulae (brooches) may well be from the west coast of Asia Minor, an area settled by Greek colonists. Greeks and Phrygians enjoyed close relations in the late 8th to early 7th century BC. A fibula is an ancient safety pin.
