The neck of this jia wine vessel is decorated with dragonized taotie masks and stylized cicadas. On the body, taotie designs appear against a ground of squared spirals. Beneath the handle, a small vertical dragon appears under the taotie’s tail. The handle itself is topped with a bovine head and ends in curved, hoof-like legs. Instead of an inscription, the base features a bearded human figure in relief, likely a clan emblem commonly found on late Shang dynasty bronzes. China, Asia
